The RangeExpedition log · 2026

Every light on this map is a live build.

Ten flagship expeditions, from real client launches to full-scale concepts, all designed, written, and coded by hand. The valley behind them is drawn live, the same way I build everything else.

Expedition 01Concept buildSmall-Town Law Firm Concept

Marlowe & Fenn LLP

A fictional four-lawyer firm on the main street of an invented BC town, and the whole website is drafted as the firm's agreement with its clients: numbered clauses, a public fee schedule, and oxblood margin marks that re-say the legal drafting the way you would across a kitchen table.

Expedition 02Concept buildIntegrated Wellness Clinic Concept

The Morrow Clinic

A fictional integrated wellness clinic on the Sorrel River, built to be the calmest site in the range: morning light, a two-minute booking flow, a fogged east window you wipe with your finger, and every nervous-patient question answered before the calendar ever opens.

Expedition 03Concept buildWood-Fired Restaurant Concept

Smokefall

A fictional wood-fired restaurant at the end of Wharf Road in an invented lakeside town. The website is the restaurant's day board, and it knows what time it is: six designed light states, a draggable sun, a living hearth-smoke scene, and a menu page set like a printed artifact.

After the showcase

The build goes live. The relationship should not go dark.

The portfolio shows the finished public work, but KMD is built around what happens next too: clearer updates, practical guidance, client resources, and a calm path back to Brett when the next business question appears.

01

Launch is the visible part

The portfolio shows what goes public: positioning, pages, visuals, conversion paths, and technical execution.

02

The Lodge keeps it alive

Clients keep learning, requesting updates, organizing resources, and reaching Brett instead of disappearing into a support void.

03

The check-up is the next trail map
