What owners ask before they sign on.

What counts as a support hour?+

Text edits, image swaps, hours and price changes, small design adjustments, and analytics reviews. Send the exact page link, the current wording, the replacement wording, and any files, and batch non-urgent requests together so the hours go further. Bigger work like new pages, booking systems, or ecommerce is quoted as a separate scope so the retainer stays predictable.

What happens if I do not use my hours one month?+

Retainers cover availability, monitoring, and steady care, so hours are not banked indefinitely. The value is that the site stays secure, monitored, and ready, and that help is there the moment you need it. If you have a larger project coming, tell me early and I will plan the time.

How fast will I actually hear back?+

Essentials targets a reply within 24 hours. Growth moves that to within 12 hours with a priority queue. Priority targets a same-day reply on business days. Genuine emergencies, like the site being down, are treated as emergencies regardless of tier.

Do I really need a retainer if my site already works?+

A site that works today is not the same as a site that stays working. Software ages, certificates expire, content goes stale, and unpatched software is the most common way sites get compromised. A retainer keeps the thing you paid for current, safe, and improving instead of slowly drifting.

Can I cancel or change tiers?+

Yes. Move between Starter, Essentials, Growth, and Priority as the business changes. Step up before a busy season, ease off when things are quiet. The goal is the right amount of help, not a contract you feel stuck in.

Do you maintain sites you did not build?+

Sometimes. It depends on how the existing site was built and whether it can be supported safely. The cleanest path is a KMD build, but if your current site is genuinely maintainable, I will tell you honestly and quote accordingly.

Refer a neighbour who signs, and I e-transfer you $200. Anyone can refer, there is no limit, and it pays out when their first payment clears (second payment for Own It Monthly projects).
